Your Guide to East Bay Homes…

Serving clients from Oakland to Richmond with individual attention, local knowledge, integrity and fun. Whether its a condo on Lake Merritt, a loft in Emeryville, a Berkeley bungalow or a hilltop house with a SF view, let me show you what the East Bay has to offer.

A house is much more than a mere shelter. It should lift us emotionally and spiritually.

Home Matters

Real Estate is so much more than ownership of property. If you’re a buyer its about selecting the right home for your lifestyle. Whatever your needs are I guarantee that no two properties are the same. By listening I will distinguish between “your” 3 bedroom/ 2 bath home, versus someone else’s. Does style matter to you? Do you prefer a more traditional Cape Cod, a bungalow, mediterranean, modern or mid-century home? When it gets down to it you will know which one works for you because it will feel right. Let’s start the conversation and find the right place for you. If you’re a seller then it helps to think about what a buyer is looking for. Most all homes are viewed online and therefore must be camera ready to attract a buyer with high visual interest. While there are many components to selling and getting top dollar, you need an exit plan, a disclosure packet that doesn’t scare buyers away, curb appeal, and a well thought-out marketing plan. It may take from 1-3 months to get your home ready for sale & timing is important. Call for a consultation.

Integrity Matters

My goals when becoming a realtor were to make a difference in people’s lives. Whether listing or purchasing I am here to be your advocate. My close relationships with local inspectors, mortgage & title companies, stagers, photographers, contractors and other realtors, strengthen my ability to communicate effectively and successfully close the transaction. It is my belief that strength & Integrity come from building trust, being firm & consistent, and by being polite and professional.

Mala’s Story

The West Coast California lifestyle has always been a place for new ideas. Even as a teen I was drawn to its free spirit. I made my way here and lived in San Francisco for 25 years broadening my horizons to include a love of art, film, dance, photography & politics. I hold a BA in Psychology from SF State University & studied photography & advertising at the Academy of Art. I then had 2 careers, one in commercial photography and later, sales & interior design. My past accomplishments led me to Real Estate which has been a perfect fit. Traveling both near & far with my husband also enriches my life, or just walking along the magnificent bay.

Licensed since 2010 and practicing since 2013, I take pride in serving the diverse communities of the East Bay. Call me and find out how I can make the real estate process successful for you.

Building Wealth for Women

Growing up with 3 older brothers I learned early on if you want something then you have to go after it. I believe girls will become our future leaders, and I want women to learn how to purchase a home and build wealth through Real Estate. Call to attend a group seminar or private consultation. I also support women owned businesses.  Since 2018 I served as the VP for Professional Women’s Network, and was the 2020/2021 President of the first women’s networking group of SF, founded in 1985. As the past program director I focused on training & leadership speakers for our incredible group of women entrepreneurs. Go to: www.PWNetwork.com for upcoming events or support women in business through our directory.
